Thanks guys. Although--perfectionist alert!--I'm not happy with the negative space to the right of center. I feel like it needs something. Another branch farther in the background, perhaps? I'm not sure. Luckily these props grow on trees (!) so I might try a few more arrangements.

A shot from November while doing some 4x5 LF + strobe experimentation in the home studio.

    Calumet 45NX 4x5
    Rodenstock Geronar 150mm F6.3 lens.
Lighting via Alien Bees B800 strobe at full power in 22" soft white beauty dish with diffusion sock, hovered directly over and in slightly in front of camera position.
White bounce card underneath vase containing leaf.
Strobe triggered with a pair of PocketWizard Plus II radio triggers, one on camera attached to the Copal shutter via sync cable and the other on the B800 strobe.
Ilford HP5+. 1/125th second @ F32 with film rated at box speed of 400.
Self Developed in Xtol 1+2 in Paterson Universal Tank using the Taco Method. 15 1/2 minutes @ 20 degrees Celsius. Tap water stop bath. Ilford Rapid Fixer. Photo-Flo.
Negative scanned with Epson V600 in two scans and merged back together in PhotoShop since the V600 doesn't natively support 4x5 scans in one pass.

Jim, a very nice imaginative view. Were you able to achieve sharpness throughout the field of view?

    Thanks for posting.

Yes, with maximum back tilt and a nearly flat subject. There is some cropping around all edges for esthetic purposes, but the original image seemed reasonably sharp throughout. Originally I thought the lens was a S-A Angulon, but that lens is on a Technika style board. I used a second-hand Optar WA bought in 1968. Too many lenses gets confusing! The Graphic View II bought recently on ebay was discontinued in 1967. The performance of old equipment is esthetically and financially gratifying.
