    Preston; I've in the past dismissed many of your colorful landscape photos as high quality postcard genre; stuff I wasn't personally into. This one is certainly not. This one is fine art that would make Eliot Porter jealous if he were alive.

    To answer questions, it's an argyrotype. My first one! I've since made a better one with a more even spread. I'm using it as a cheaper way into Platinum. I thought I'd practice with the cheaper sensitiser first. The results so far are better than expected, I'm dry heating the image above my wood burner which gives darker tones than the light brown I expected.

    As for upside down, the framer had to call me so they knew which way was up. An artist friend of mine thought it was better the other way up. Choices.

    We are waiting for spring here in the uk, it's been a long grey winter....
