    Epson 3800 & Longest 17" sheet ?

If i was to buy a roll of 17" wide paper & cut it into sheets, what is the longest 17" wide sheet that i could physically put into the printer (Epson 3800) without any modifications ?

Without a 3rd party RIP, you can print up to 37.4" long. With the inexpensive Quadtone (b&w) RIP, 128" long. Other (expensive) RIPS will print even longer.

But how could you physically put a sheet that long into the printer without the paper sagging ? I shoot 6x12, so i am looking at buying roll paper, cutting it & making 17x34" prints

I've made 17" x 36" prints without any problem. I have the printer next to a wall and the paper is fed into the rear feed slot and it rests vertically against the wall.

Ok that's goot to know. One more question, roughly how many 17x34 " prints would i get, printing on Epson PGPP ( And If all Colors being used were equal) before the inks would run out ?

Edit: I know it sounds like a bit if a dumb question, i just want to work out how feasable it would be printing large prints like this on a printer with such small capacity cartridges.

Sorry, no idea, but I wouldn't call 80 ml carts "small capacity". I've made a lot of prints and I still have some original carts installed. Check out the Epson 3800 FAQ at:
