    Efke vs Ilford b&w film.

Has anybody done any test with the Efke film and the Ilford fp4 film. I'm wondering if there is any difference between the two.

I shoot Ilford at about box speed, and efke one stop less (FP4 vs. PL100)

Ilford always has notches where they're supposed to be. Not the case with efke. Not a big issue when loading as long as you've figured out which side is the emulsion side. Can be an issue if you're processing depends on knowing the emulsion side, like in drums. That said, I'm assuming you mean pl100. I tried it and didn't like it like I do the fp4 and as matt said, Ilford is faster.
