    Howtek D4000 setup advice sought

I have recently acquired a fully functional D4000 and am seeking advice about the best way to set it up. I will be scanning modest quantities of medium and large format film.

    Here's what I have:

-Very clean D4000 which I picked up from a working environment (both transparency and reflective). Driver 535.
-Powermac G4 tower (400 Mhz/1.5 Gb) w/fresh install of both OSX 10.3.9 and 9.2.2. Both 2930 and 2906 SCSI connectors.
-Functional Photoshop on both operating systems.
-Silverfast Ai v5.2 on original disk w/ serial numbers.

All of the above seems is installed and appears to be functional but right off the bat Photoshop/Silverfast can't find the scanner.

I have posted this at Silverfast and Scan Hi End as well.

All advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have a scsi terminator on your scanner? I run mine on a PC with adaptec scsi cards and the drivers always find the machines.
