There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!
Sorry but they are atleast an F stop to dark in my opinion.

Hello Drew,
I hope that you won't mind my making a suggestion. It is not that your exposure is under exposed as Armin suggested (the highlights are properly exposed) but rather that you need to create a large light source when you photograph highly reflective surfaces...in other words you do not light the horn but rather let the horn see the large light source. Create a large bank by shooting your strobes through a large expanse of white rip stop nylon (something on the order of 3 ft by 6 feet in this case). You can fabricate a frame for this bank by fabricating it from 3/4 inch PVC pipe. That is if you don't wish to buy a manufactured bank.
