Omega D5 XL: anything I should be aware of?

Thanks for all the good advice guys, and that great link to the site KHB provides regarding Omega enlargers. I'm going to ask the seller if he doesn't mind having a look inside the mixing box. And even if it is full of spots, if I can pick up a liner that will correct that issue, shouldn't be a problem.

Lens turrets show up all the time on ebay for not much money. Make sure you align it when you get it setup. My chromegatrol crapped out, and I think that is a fairly common occurrence. Keep an eye out for a used power supply, and make sure it comes with the voltage stabilizer module. I was never fond of the Chromegatrol as a timer, so I'm sort of glad it died.

I feel the same way. That's why I went with the standard power supply and used the add-on voltage stabilizer from Omega. Then I went with the Gra-Lab 450 as my timer. I've been happy with the setup!
