    Victoria,

    That's pretty remarkable work.

I'm curious, what's your market? I see from your website you're a commercial photog, which makes me wonder whether this is personal work or if this genre, too, fills some kind of commercial demand.

Is an envelope pushing "...stays in Vegas" campaign about to hit us like a ton of bricks ?

let's keep this wide angle thing going...

yeat another self portrait, maybe someday i will learn to do this so i can shoot other people also

I was trying to get everything out of my cheap ass equipment, shot with Raptar 90mm f6.8 @ f32, quit a bit of lens and film movements where involved in this shot. Nice to see this lens actually can deliver.

I ran out of room a bit for my strobe, and got only a dim sidelight to hit my eye.. shame, it kinda was a big thing in this image.

Commercial work went digital when century turned over, nobody needs or cares about film too much for commercial work Nowdays I do LF film only for editorial/personal work. Pics get published here and there and I do have constant editorial demand, but by no measure there is any "commercial demand" or any notion of "market" per se.

    Re: August Portraits

My granddaughter was willing to sit for a few minutes while I "fiddled" with my "toy." After I shot the picture she ran to the ground glass to see the result (a product of the digital age) - after explaining how it would be a while until it was done she went on to other things. I haven't tried too many times to use large format with the family, but she is happy with the results and said she will do it again. It was on HP5 using a 5x7 Canham with a 240mm - open shade at 1/4 second around f8.
