Poured this plate today. I just love working in this medium
8x10 Wet PLate Collodion Ambrotype
...and another couple of plates I poured today...thought I'd try some macro and use the one and only waterhouse stop I own for my Voigt. The second Half plate Ambrotype was shot wide open (f3.5) for 15sec the first with the stop for 2 1/2 mins.

I have been enjoying the wet plate work!
Here is a recent carbon print, though the 4x5 negative was made in 1995

My last collodion 18x24 cm plate, a bit foggy by 90°F yesterday
Always seem to say this should go in the tree post but it is an alternative print so I put it here. 8x10 carbon transfer that is part of the series I'm doing on the Black Oak survival in Yosemite. I had a lot of back light to deal with in this image and the Pyrocat-HD tamed the Efke-25 negative nicely. It took some time to get the contrast right on the print ( took 3 tries). May not present itself well here but the sense of light in the print is really nice.

Stunning, and I hope you will post more carbon transfer prints.
8x10 Carbon transfer print on fixed out fibre-based (matte) paper. (HP5+ negative developed in pyrocat-hd).
The relief on this paper is quite nice.
