Very interesting! Should it be rotated 90 counterclockwise?

I ask as it looks like grass growing horizontally

Ha! Randy I didn't even see it as "grass". The crystals do kind of look like grass in the black areas, I see where your coming from. Thanks for the feedback as I guess I have tunnel vision on this crystal series!

Small iPhone makes all images different. I’ll look on a monitor shortly

I really do like it! Especially now that it’s not grass...

edit still looks like tall weeds

    Erik,

This is an interesting series of images. I love the ambiguity and suggestion of another visual reality.

What kind of surface are you using for the transfer? I would think that a hard glossy of matte fixed out paper would work very well with carbon.

    Thanks Sandy,
I am using old single weight Agfa brovira glossy fiber. It’s a smooth surface but not real glossy. I haven’t tried any other final support yet. I’m getting a kick out of this series. It’s making me work at focusing with essentially no dof to speak of, but at least it’s a flat plane to focus on. I keep growing crystals and hope I like the pattern they make. Definitely something new for me.

Your skills far exceed mine and I will never catch up. I started too late. I am on the far side of my Bell curve.

I do see a lot of things but can't capture them. Those devils...
