    Thanks Gents . I think this new 11x14 series suits the Carbon and Platinum . Can't beat the Warm tone of the Carbon process.

    Beautiful, Tri. 11x14 certainly is a nice size for alt processes!

    To return back to the problem - I "talked" about it a bit with Wolfgang Moersch, he holds the opinion that the staining is not due to insufficient clearing but insufficient fixing - his advice is to fix for longer time or use stronger dilution of the fixer.

    Anyway, here is a quick "illustration" of the problem, Wolfgang's comment it's there full.

    Goofing around with gum over pt/pd. 8x10 efke pl 25 on arches platine. Mormon Row in the Teton National park.
