    MDR, thank you - lots of details over at Flickr. The calotype is on Canson Marker, the salt print is a bespoke making of Ruscombe Chateau Vellum 85g (not the standard 100g). The hunt for the good and right paper is a never ending quest… (specially for calotypes!)

    Thanks for posting this article. Always nice to read as much as one can about the process they work in. I disagree with some of the information especially the part about buying commercial tissue. But now that is just the way I work.

    these two images are from the same negative.

    For some reason the inking was very, very hard to do, so I decided to experiment with several colours at the same time....

    Full negative 9x12 - painted with light.

    and then I cropped the negative to a square - and played even more with the colours....
