    Metal on metal. Very appropriate.

    Took me a while to learn Arches Platine is made specifically for Platinum printing.

    "In the Forest" - a tea-toned Cyanotype

    Slowly getting a hang of the 14x20 camera..
    Shot on FP4 14x20 with 42" RDA @f64, 4s
    Developed with HC-110, dilution B, 6.5 min @ 68 deg C wit Jobo (3063 drum)
    Print on Fabriano Artistico paper
    Bleached and toned with Tetley tea.

    The color of your kallitypes is beautiful, and the tonal values are exquisite. I imagine it is also quite wonderful to work in these old places.

    And you are right, it is a unique experience, standing / sitting among the old stones, listening to the light, making an exposure now and then... (But it needs a bit of planning and luck to avoid too many tourists.) Oddly, when one know the typical plan of these monasteries it is tempting to say, that they are esentially all the same. But they really are not and each holds it's surprises to the careful "looker"..
