I mean we're only there to sleep and getting a good night's rest is the most important thing, right?
The second shot is the Hard Rock in Chicago, just so-so.
The hotel at the end is the Hotel Chelsea in midtown Manhattan, over-priced.

1. Del Marcos in Palm Springs - excellent
2. Buffalo Hyatt - cheapest best Hyatt with giant rooms
3. A good TV is important too. Some random Hyatt.
4. An "Hourly" in Studio City. $75 for the first hour...
Thanks Henry. I enjoy sharing my architectural interiors.
Frank, how many blow-up dolls do you have? ;-)
(Also, please give tech information about the "pistols" picture. It has the creamy look of a Kertesz image from the 1930s Paris. Thanks)

It's just Tri-X and a 150mm Symmar wide open, nice light out in the desert and careful scanning/curve adjustments.
Bummer, must have been there at the wrong time! No Pistoleros.
Frank - Do you use flash?
I was driving down SW Stark at 11th , next to the Ace Hotel in Portland, sometime this last spring (I think) about 6PM or so. I was waiting for the light to change and I noticed a flash in the 2nd or 3rd floor room near rhe corner of the hotel. I could swear I saw the outline of a hot looking girl in the window. I drove around the block hoping to vget a better look ;^) and as I came around the second time, I think the blinds had been pulled.
Was that you or is there some secret about people shooting nudes at the Ace?
Kirk - www.keyesphoto.com
haha no just Halogens, a couple of Lowel Totas bouncing around or in umbrellas. I am sure I am not the only photographer to have shot in these places.

Just to move on from the Frank show, even though I love Franks images, and the accoutrements found at the hotels he frequents.
Here's a pic of motel that is long gone.
