She is the total package. She uses all my cameras, OM-1, Yashica D, Mamiya C-220 and C-330, Calumet cc-401 and cc-400, video, and sculpts draws and paints. She's been a great darkroom assistant and now has her own darkroom. She has made a couple of stop action animated shorts using the creatures she makes with polymer clay. BTW, she can outshoot me on pheasants(grumble) and clay pigeons, helluva shotgunner and archer, been shooting since three.

    High Level Bridge #1.

Well at last! My first ever LF shot. Was a cold day and was not dressed for it. Makes fiddling around not much fun. Any way tried a little front left swing and rear back tilt, focused and let'er rip. Nailed the focus between the first and third supports but too soft left of the first and right of the third. Quite a few beginner lessons.
Dress for it. LF takes a lot of time.
Set the tripod at head height (to the GG). Crouching while trying to use the loupe does'nt help lower back problems.
Wear the dark cloth like a cloak, closed around the neck. Simply pulling over the head and forward to the camera proved easiest.
I think with just these 3 improvements, the job of setting the movements and focusing with the loupe would proceed much easier.

    Shen-Hao 45IIA, Fujinon 90/f8.0, 1/15 @ f22.5. Acros 100 @ EI 100, Rodinal (1+50) 13.5 mins MDC. Paterson/Taco.

Comments, criticism and advice sorely needed and appreciated.

Rented Sinar F1, Portra VC (wrong film choice), didn't factor in reciprocity failure.

I'm pretty sure this was my first - it's the first entry in my LF field notebook and although I visited this spot at later dates, the other negs. don't match the print. Small cascade on the Cann River in Far East Gippsland, Victoria, Aust. 22 May, 1986, 12.45 pm.

Scan of contact print on Galerie grade 3 developed in Ansco 120. I don't have a fine print (except a framed one) or digital scans of this neg.

    Toyo 810G, 480 mm Apo-Ronar @ F/22. FP4 developed in D-7 pyro, probably 5 min.

    Brings back fond memories.

Not really number one...actually number 7 or 8. The previous were pretty funny

If this is a mistake I think it is a good one. A very evocative and interesting photograph!

    Thank you very much Austin!

In fact i am not sad about the mistake, i got double exposure as a mistake and it came out nice, but i feel happy that i got both shots even ended up as one double to be good, i think the exposure was not that tough so even i expose the sheet twice it didn't go bad, i can imagine if both shots were separated exposed on each sheet then it will look nice, getting something as a start is better than nothing

Wanted my first shot to be awesome...but oh well. I still have much to learn. Only been shooting film for 6 months, mostly with a Pentax 67 until now (Toyo GII).
