Bogen 3050 legs and 3047 3 way head?

What should I pay for this combo in good condition? and is this sufficient to hold an 8x10 sinar camera?

    Thanks

I don't know how much you should pay, but I use that combo to hold a 12 lb camera. It accomplishes that task with ease.

$50.00 for the head and $125.00 for the legs, used.

I'm not comfortable relying on the 3047 quick-release mechanism and camera mounting plates with such a heavy camera. I used my 3047 for a while when I was getting started in 8x10 because that's what I had, but eventually I moved on to a Gitzo legset and low-profile 3-way head without quick release for my bigger cameras.

Yes, big cameras can be unstable with the qr, they can slip and turn also.
