In the current issue of View Camera Magazine, at least seven "Brand X" lenses are listed in the charts at near the end of the magazine. I've never heard of these, but they sound interesting. Anyone know where I can buy them?

Brand X is an improved version of Brand W.

The Brand X lenses are Acutar's, Astrogon's, Acugon's etc etc, some were made by Illex, others by Congo, others elsewhere they were all private label with no indication of the actual manufacturer.
