What did you compose at Waters Edge?

Thanks you Brian. I have been driving over a bridge watching this scene develop for about a month. The US Forest Service had the road closed into this area most of last year but to my surprise it was open the day I shot this. Saves a 3 mile steep hike but now I wish they had left it closed. To my dismay some bunch of boneheads have gone down there and tagged up the rocks, I'm talking 3 foot high lettering (gang stuff). It was not like that last year when I was there. Will never be the same even if they try to paint over the mess.

Well, lucky you were there first to forever preserve its natural beauty!!

Nice shot, really like the exposure that caught all the snow detail. What is the source of the interesting smoke trail?

Thanks. I reckon I will get 6 or 7 pretty decent prints from the trip. I'd like to be able to share pictures online as well so I'm looking into flatbed scanner options at the moment.
