Nice, Vaughn. I love that boulder and have yet to get a shot of it for various reasons (excuses?).

"If you want nice fresh oats, you have to pay a fair price. If you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse; that comes a little cheaper."
Looks like an area w/ great potential. If the rangers would get busy and remove the litter of rocks, it would begin looking spiffy. Even better, a Travel Lodge would fit nice, right over there, lakeside. I also see a convenient landing spot for canoes & paddle boats (or picnic tables if the water’s too shallow). Preston’s fun shot reminds us how we can improve natural places like this for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks. Preston. One good reason (or excuse) is that it is too easy of a target...very close to the road, everyone sees it, and of course AA has already nailed it (thou a big chunk on it has broken off since his image of it).
But then, this tree along the same stretch of road and river was also an easy target, and one that AA already claimed. But it is no longer there, so sometimes one can't wait too long!

Wow, there has been some very nice stuff posted here recently! Preston, you get credit for breathing some new life into a somewhat worn cliche, at least for those of us who've looked at a lot of images by those "West Coast School" guys.
