    3 part ... the wreck

i watched from the shore the clouds get dark
the seas get rough and the waves crash

the ship was tossed and turned, sailes torn and fallen in the darkness

    the wreck was gone

We’ve seen several beautiful “Edge of Ice” photos – ice is a form of water, right? – so in honor of its more gaseous form, here’s one at the “Edge of Steam.”

These hot puffs are billowing above Mount St. Helens (Washington state). Before the cataclysm of May, 1980, she was quite a show-off, flaunting the shape of a beautiful cone. She may be whispering now, but one day she’ll lose her temper again – it’s only a matter of time.

From this vantage point, the soles of my boots were feeling the heat...

Trying out the Schneider Tele-Xenar 360 (thank you Frank) on the Shin-Hao 45IIA, which I really intend to use/learn/practice for portraits on my Sinar P. Great to realise that the "Tele" focuses at infinity no trouble on the Shin-Hao. A new discovery . 1/25 @ f22. FP4+/Rodinal (1+50) 12 min. Taco. V700 Wet Scan.

Breaking clouds from last nights rain were over the bay at Lovers Point here in Pacific Grove this morning. Seemed like a good excuse to haul out the Tachi. No tourist types even bothered me!

    Nice shot, Ibenac.

I would have moved a bit to the left to get the dead limb out of view. It's somewhat discordant IMO.

Not a criticism, just a thought.

Re: What did you compose at Water’s Edge?

Could not :-) It is taken from a narrow path with plenty of bushes in the way of a good composition and the angle to get a glimpse of the house was as far as I could go to the left.

    Cheers,
