Thank you for the encouraging comment.

The challenge is really about pace! Having moved from 35mm its is a bit like moving from "point and shoot" to drawing with paper and pencil. I am aso still in the discovery stage of trying different film/developer combinations - striving to match the visulisation I had when I made the exposure.

The images (when they work) are, however, worth the time and effort.

Early morning fog on the way Meadow Lake Saskatchewan, Canada.
    4x5, HP5, Pyrocat-HD (stand dev).
There is the wake of a muskrat swimming through the right side of the frame.
    Respectfully,

    Thank you Rory!

Here the last in the series of late-summer storms: at Lake Ossiach in Austria… (strictly speaking this isn't "at water's edge", but water is in there, and it is part of the other three storms… so please bear with me)

Cedar Creek Falls near Brisbane, Oz.

Hard sunlight made this challenging. 37 minute exposure with Lee 10 stop ND. Efke 25 in Rodinal 1:50 8.30 mins. A bit of curve adjustment and digital dodging...

    Comments welcome.

Not a bad picure and would be nice in a reasonable size print. Pleased you posted it.
