I call it quickmud. I was half expecting the tripod to sink while the exposure was happening so I shot this at only f/45 to get a shorter exposure time.

Hi Bryan lovely picture. I just wanted to say I looked through your blog a couple of weeks ago and really like your photography. You really pull order out of the chaos of dense shrubbery in all light conditions which I never have a great deal of luck in. You make the busy scenery very easy on the eye.
I can't imagine what it must be like lugging around all that camera gear in, I assume, those muggy conditions you must get in Georgia.

    Thank you very much Alex!
Yep, very, very muggy in the hot season...which is about April through October!

And thank you Pali. Glad you enjoy it.

It's a great area for those looking for non-iconic Australian landscape locations!

Sunset at Diver's Cove, Laguna Beach, CA. Crown Graphic 4x5, 150mm Sironar, HP5, D-76 1-1. Not a very good scan.

    Twilight Landscape
    Deardorff 8x10 on HP5+
    Fujinon 210mm F64 9.5 Minutes
    Rodinal 1:50

First time taking the 8x10 out with me. I completely underestimated the extra effort it takes to take lug around 8x10 vs. 4x5 but I was getting the hang of it by sunset. This was my last image from the night and I decided to go wide with the thought that I would crop it to 4x10 but I like this crop better.
