Taken at Eibsee near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I'm hoping the print will be better. This is just a photo of the negative.
Taken with a Calumet cc400, Caltar 2-s 210, Ilford HP5+, exposed for 1 second at f/45 with a #15 filter. It was about 7AM, and a wonderful morning. By 1030, it was pouring down rain.

A walk around the lake led to this location, which just screamed "Take my picture!"

That is indeed a scene of classic beauty, kintatsu. The early bird catches the worm - which was enough to make me go virtually vegetarian Did you use any tilt, or was the depth of field only achieved by stopping down?

Here's one from my weekend. The weather was gorgeous, so the girlfriend and me decided to hang out a bit at the beach. I think I held her up a bit, though...

I used a slight forward tilt and a little left swing. Both on the front. I actually got up at 5AM and left the family asleep in the room. They're definitely not early birds, either!

Magnificent shot. I love the clouds and the sand patterns!

Sounds all very subtle; I still find it difficult to judge what I'm doing on the ground glass. I looked through a prism finder on a Sinar once and I am more and more inclining towards acquiring one as it makes composing so much easier. I'd love to see the print you make of that image; I'm sure there's quite a bit of detail in the shadows that didn't make it to the digital file.

Thanks for the compliment btw! I'm glad I could save some of the highlights to the right. They were totally blown out in the digital proof that I made when composing this picture, but that's the nice thing about print film!

As I sit in the sweltering heat of a Sept. California heatwave, I went through some old film and came across this late winter Yosemite scene I had never scanned. It is from March, 2006. It is the bottom of Bridal Veil falls. The cool temps sure do look inviting.

Arca Swiss camera, Acros film, processing whatever the lab did (before I souped my own B&W film).

    C&C always are welcome.
