I haven't been here for quite a while, so I thought I would throw something into the mix.

I like how the driftwood divides how the lake reflects sky and clouds.

Smooth this side, rough on the other.

Matt, if you've been away because you're shooting, hope you've returned to post more like this.

Lovely, great positioning of the log, but you knew that.

    Matt,

I enjoy the image, and probably more so because I am pretty sure this is Yellowstone Lake and this area is a ways south of the Lake Hotel area. Jim

Here is an image I took a couple of years ago. I am not sure what this was other than a bunch of some type of aquatic plant that had been torn up. It was along a shoreline in a small lake in Upson, WI. I assume it was the result of several trumpeter swans that had been there for a couple of weeks. Any way, these plants/weeds were in a calm area and I was just fascinated by the texture and patterns. I am afraid to say I probably shot more 8x10 film than I should have, but it was fun. Anyway, taken with my Ebony 8x10 using my Fuji 300 5.6, and I think this one image was taken on E100VS.

Ditto. I'm really enjoying your injection of color into the thread, too.

One of my favorite rocks at the breakwater in Rockland Maine. This is on the lee side of it which tends to freeze more from the water being still.

Exquisite color with the sharpest of lenses. Thank you for sharing.
