Everything outdoor is more subdued this time of year in New England. The use of low contrast and simple scene expresses that. I wouldn't call it un-photogenic, but more difficult to show well.
I want a New England (near CT if possible) LF meetup! The challenge shoot interesting post autum pre-snow shots. I'm in CT if you didn't guess LOL

Another image from late autumn, rescanned and reworked.
Nice one Ken. This one has a quiet intensity about it. To me it looks like the trees either side of the main tree are standing back in amazement and the small tree in the front is bowing down as if to say "your majesty". I like this version but have you tried to aspenize a version of it? I squinted at it on screen and it lowered the low values a little and made separated the trees from the wood. It was just an idea. Hp5 and pyrocat certainly work well together.

Thank you!
