Harley, Really nice composition and I love the dark rendering of tones.

    Indian Rhubarb, Cascade Creek
    Yosemite National Park
    Scanned 5x7 Platinum/palladium print

From an bridge on the Old Big Flat Road down into Yosemite Valley
On a backpack trip with the old 5x7 -- 210mm lens

The road was the stage coach road, then became a one-way car road, into the Valley. Ansel mentions it in his autobio., I believe -- and the need to get there in time to travel on it as traffic changed direction at set times.

Your interpretation of this image really strikes a chord with me. Great sense of light and texture.
