Heroique, Sam, and Nana, Thank you, I appreciate that. The thing that struck me about this boardwalk is that they installed it to prevent people from marking up the hills with their footprints, but in doing so, they made the platform the dominating element in the landscape! At least it was for me. Anyway though, thanks again.

Fantastic! And what amazing timing on that cloud, or did you stand there all day? I am curious as to the scale of the crosses; are they sticks or are they twenty feet tall? And what do they mark?

The crosses are a roadside memorial to accident victims about 3'-4' tall maybe and I'm no where near patient enough to wait all day, just got lucky.

At 10,000 feet under low-scudding clouds.

I chose a quick shutter speed for a solid-mass (not ethereal) feel – fun for me to compare.
