Large Format Landscapes

Here is one from a Utah trip. This is the view from Dead Horse Point State Park of the Colorado River.

I see the Potash Road down there, and I know it would take me to the White Rim Trail. I haven't been down there in 20 years. Oh, man, do I need a trip out there!

It was good not to include sky, which I would have done. It makes the canyon actually seem more endless without the La Sal Mountains in the background, though they wouldn't have been in view from this South-looking angle anyway.

I love your image of the Dolomites. It's so interesting how each mountain range has its' own unique profile. As an American I am so used to looking at images of North American mountains; the Sierra Nevada, the Tetons, etc., but rarely see landscape photography from other countries. I so enjoy seeing how photographers in other countries capture their own magnificent places.

Hope one day i can come and photographs your magnificent places. At the moment i enjoy walking and photographing into and outside Dolomites and Alps but I'm also looking forward to see all the beauty you have over there...

Love the view from here but on clear sky days not really a point to put it in. I'd love to have a stormy sunrise or sunset here but both times I made it there it was hopelessly clear.

First time using RVP 50 in awhile. Part of me feels like the saturation is too much...otoh, that's pretty close to what I had in mind when I drove past this place.
