Luc, great series - all three. Looks like I see a few legs in that last one (two human, one from the tripod).

I've got another from my trip to Mount Rainier last month...

(last photo I confused which lens I'd used - this is actually the perspective with the 150mm lens )

That looks cold, Tyler - the contrast of the exposed rock against the sunlit areas seems to accentuate that feeling.

Wow, just a perfect reflection David. I love the way the reflected image seems complete, and how the stones beneath the water really only come through in the sky's reflection. Lovely!

/sorry if that was unclear... just had a couple pints over lunch. :-P

Pretty cool effect. Did you had a polarizer or the water was just transparent enough for the details in the rocks?

    Cheers,

    You made me
I have been considering cropping to remove my legs but I wanted the forefront details and the square crop did not work for me.

Mountain peaks with a lot of "activity" are so great. I love the feeling of the clouds racing by (and the wind pricking the eyes and hands to a lesser extend )

I'd leave it as is too. Yeah, you can see the shadow, but it isn't distracting and it would compromise the image more to crop it, in my opinion.

I normally don't get the opportunity to shoot Rainier with a lot of "activity" but just had the one good day last month. It was just so much fun to shoot it like that, it was really a fun change of pace. (and as intense as the weather may look, it was actually a fairly mild and pleasant day - just foggy - a perfect day on the mountain)
