I really like the second one, didn't even realise there was a dog in it until I looked at it again.
Thanks, Folker and Denise. I like the use of the red filter in your photograph, Denise - I carry one in my pack, but almost always seem to select the orange. I really ought to compare the straight colour filters against a yellow + polariser.
David, each time I look at that image,
I am sure I will never ever get my Sinar out of the box.
I never used it so far! I am afraid that I will never learn LF when I see this masterpiece of work.

J. Golden,
Nice images. The first one, I see a nice visualization with cropping most of the foreground containing lower values. Then a slight crop of the top, which leaves roughly a square composition.
The second one is nice, and sort of feels like an image made with orthochromatic film. St. Ansel has a couple images in "The Negative" made with ortho film, and yours has a similar feeling for me.
thanks chassis and sam for the nice comments
"WOW! Now thats a big camera. By the way, how many megapixels is that thing?"
Um...
I feel dumb, or blind, but I even pasted it into a viewing program where I couldn't lighten it since my monitor is kind of dark (and is at max brightness, it's dying a long lingering death - need to get another one) and I can't find a dog.
EDIT: Or do you mean the fourth one, which is the second one in the second post? That looks like it might be a dog in the lower right, the darker area, but it could be a fuzzy motion blurred rock - but rocks don't move so that must be the dog.
