Very nice saturation with Velvia 100. Have you tried Velvia 50? And if so, do you see much of a difference?

Thanks Old Dick and Pali K. When it works it's good. Today I went out with camera and came back empty: no exposures. Thems is the breaks.

I just recently shot a few frames of it and started a test comparing a number of films. I will post the results once I'm done. I don't have any 50 shots to show just yet though. The price difference between the two is large enough I have to really think if I want the 50 though. Provia has actually became my favorite though!

Now that's kind of cool, the subject matter is obvious but it doesn't DOMINATE the frame

I was actually sold on the snow and grass covered field stones in the near and put the monument in the far. Half Dome is well known and photographed....I just saw it differently that day.

Idlike to see some examples of your Velvia 50 images, especially if you develop them yourself. I really enjoy the saturation of Velvia 50, but I haven't tried Velvia 100 yet. You are right about the price difference. Here is an example of my work on Velvia 50.
