    Chas,

I'm assuming you must've gotten into LF someplace else ...

For those who don't know Western Australia, Pannawonica is pretty much more remote than North Korea !!

    Congrats to you.

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

Had a busy late afternoon with a friend shooting in some pretty crazy conditions. For the 3rd time in the past week I went to a new location to photograph, and this time the "creek" that I was shooting at was actually more like a large river, and flowing backwards. The river downstream is flooding so badly that it is pushing back up the creek basically. I was up past my knees in water where last week I was walking on a path 20 feet from the water. Major floodplain, obviously. I shot almost 20 sheets of film so expect lots of photos in the next day or two.

During all this time I was fighting ants all over me. This area flooded and apparently tons of ants were floating around or clinging to any bit of foliage above water and then to me. Even after taking a shower later I was stilling finding ants on me.

    Anyway...Chamonix 45n1, Voigtlander 15cm f/4.5 APO Lanthar w/ polarizer, T-Max 100, Acufine:

Beautiful image, Bryan. The water really makes it a little mysterious. Well worth the price of admission.

Thanks JeRuFo. Yeah I was happy the water swirled a bit during the exposure.

Here's another. Probably should've opened up a stop to throw the background a bit further out of focus.

Been a while since i posted here. Been trying to spend more time taking photos and less time reading about taking photos

This is Man Of War Bay on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, a place i've photographed many times. One day i'll finally take the photo i've been hoping for. More clouds, less people. I'm sure you all know how it can be with popular locations

This photo was taken on a 8x10 camera on Fomapan 100 with a Schneider Symmar S 210mm. Despite not being designed for 8x10 it almost, just about covers it! Theres a touch of vignetting, but thats ok with me.

What link do you mean? The image displays here just fine - and a gorgeous scene it is!
