I'm sorry if it's a repost, but going through some last year images.....
Thanks Joel
Thank you Nana!
John, really well thought landscape, I like it.
Thanks Nana,
Epson V700. It does an okay job. I make a grid pattern of guide lines in PS, and view each square in the grid at 100% or more. I remove unwanted elements like dust and spots, etc from each square one at a time using a Wacom tablet. It takes time, but the resulting image is pretty clean.
I'm sure there is a better way, but I don't trust using filters or other techniques that are applied to the entire image.

Jesus this picture is awesome. I just love it. It's got everything going for it. Dynamic colors, dynamic sky, mountains in the background, deep shadows, glowing highlights. It's one of my favorite landscape pictures that I've seen in a while, and definitely one of the best pictures I've ever seen taken within the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Excellent job Zaitz!
Thank you very much! After hearing many comments there are some things with the color that I am slightly at odds with now. But it is a hard photo to find perfect balance with, color wise, I feel. And depending on how/when I look at the photo I prefer it one way...or another. I am glad you like it and I really appreciate the compliments.
The place is amazing no doubt and I hope I can go back and spend more than two days there. Camping on the dunes is on my list of things to do one day.
