This image was made off the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire in Autumn with my 150mm Rodenstock Apo Sironar N lens and 4X5 Fuji Velvia 50 film cropped to a square image. The water can take on a nice copper color here. The area has a rugged quality to it which hopefully is visible in this scan of the image.

Wonderful image, John - the color is beautiful, especially in the water, as you pointed out !
I know just enough to be dangerous !
