    Hesperus Peak and the La Plata Mountains in SW Colorado. The town of Mancos is visible at the head of the valley.

    One I shot the other day, shot with the 4x5 field camera, 75mm grandagon, ilford delta.

    That one has nice separation. It almost looks like it was shot against an artificial background.

    I've been wanting to try a multiple shot panorama for a while. Unfortunately, I screwed up my metering and blocked-up the shadows pretty good.
    Should have double checked my settings - oh well.

    I've driven past that glacier I don't know how many times - it's difficult to photograph from the road due to the trees, but you can find the odd clear area on the other side of the road to get a 'vista' type shot. I may have to hike in - it looks interesting!

    Apart from the shadows I think it is really strong. I really enjoy the tree being slap-bang in the middle of the composition.
