    Really an excellent image.. But I do understand that a photograph like this does need time to be understood and appreciated.

    That's cool. Heavy duty late 1930's pictorialist-modern blend of style. Great taste to consider it a favorite!

    Thanks Jason. And thanks to all the others for their kind remarks, too! I struggled and struggled with this subject to find a composition that was more than a mere record or snapshot. This one ended up having a lot of symbolism. None of it was planned; it just came out that way. I love it when that happens with a photograph. Sometimes they just take on a life of their own.

    Will, you met the challenge; no mere snapshot this one! It takes some study, the most successful photographs seem to. Congrats, and best wishes for a super 2014!
