Very cool. We have a very similar fort near Astoria, Oregon, that is in much worse repair. Nice overall shot showing the surrounding environment. It's a shame that these remnants of past military outposts are crumbling, but maybe it's for the best.

We are blessed with several more similar structures here in the bay area and my mission, which I have decided to accept, is to photogtaph the on foggy and overcast days with the 8x10 and print them as van dykes.
