    Love the 'color'!
Thanks Randy! My wife also likes the color. She is going to use it as the cover of her next book.

Thank you David! Things just worked out the other day when I made these images.

Thank you Tuco! My wife liked this one also, but it didn't have any 'color'.

Re: safe haven for tiny formats

The wife and I went to the GA Renaissance Festival yesterday. Been meaning to for years, but the end of the spring semester is really busy for both of us and we always end up missing it. This year we planned ahead and set this weekend aside well in advance. Anyway, I went once when I was in grade school so technically not my first time, but really my first time. Brought along my Pentax 67 and Nikon F3 but only used the F3. I know better for next year what to bring. Here's one quick scan of some Tri-X I dev'd last night, more to come probably.

    Nikon F3, 80-200mm f/4.5 AI, Tri-X, HC-110 dil. E

As a side-note, I've been brainstorming all week about photography (historically) and the Ren Fair. The camera obscura was at the tail end of the classic dates for the Renaissance. It would be fun to put together some kind of "picture box" attraction/instant portrait shop for Ren Fairs using a pinhole. Not quite period appropriate but almost. There was one "Ye-Olde Costume and Photo" shop that was of course...not at all appropriate . I was of course looking at all of the artisan/crafts on display and we bought one each of woodcraft (pair of shot glasses / demitasse cups), glassblowing (another hummingbird feeder for our house), and pottery (beautifully glazed demitasse cup).

Thanks Barry. Yes, the jousting stuff is my favorite. Kinda hard to shoot with my ol' push-pull zoom .
