Nikon FM2, 24mm, Ilford HP5+, D-76, printed on some 5x7 ultrafine paper. Laguna Pueblo, New Mexico, June 2016. The dark streak across the sky is where my squeegee scratched the negative.
Use a wetting agent and dispose of the squeegee. Best brand is LFN.

    Correction

It was taken with Provia 100 not Velvia 50. Doesn't that just piss you off?

tuco, I love the lens flare . You do a lot of night/astro stuff - any plans for the eclipse coming up?
I like the vanishing point road.

Well, I initially planed to go to the Painted Hills in Eastern Oregon that's in the path. You can't camp there rather you'd have to find a place in driving distance. But I've been hearing horror stories about half the country showing up there. I figured I try for a landscape with the eclipse as part of it. But it's like 10:00AM and the Sun's altitude is getting pretty high. So I dunno. I may go there and check it out first. Another option is finding a camp site on the East side of the mountains where you could go to find a sweeping view of the plains on the other side or something.

I want to do a landscape as well, though the sun will be much higher over here. Eclipse is around 1:30pm. There's a mountain just down the road from me right at the edge of the full eclipse that is a very arduous hike - so I'm thinking no one will be there. Haven't decided for sure yet though. Good luck with wherever you go .

Here's a couple from Wupatki National Monument. First is on top of the Citadel Pueblo, second is the road and expansive plains going through the monument.

Yes Bryan the S8 produces some nice files. I pushed the conversion pretty hard to get the contrast in the sky and it didn't halo.

Scott -- Two fine photos. The isolation of the flower against the background is unusual and successful.
