    We've had late-afternoon storms almost every day here lately. The other day it was just raining cats and dogs in a very localized storm that made beautiful, vibrant rainbows show up everywhere. Rainbows are not particularly common to see so vividly in my experience, or for very long, in GA. My wife and I drove around a bit and found a good vantage point at the university she works at and I shot this:

    Thanks Jim. Scott, that's impressive that you could darken the sky that much off a cell phone image without obnoxious haloing. David, nice perspective on the lizard.

    tuco, I love the lens flare . You do a lot of night/astro stuff - any plans for the eclipse coming up?

    Here's a couple from Wupatki National Monument. First is on top of the Citadel Pueblo, second is the road and expansive plains going through the monument.
