    Thanks Marty & Renato.

Renato: I bought used a d800 that was converted by maxmax.com to ir-only by the previous owner. I had an older camera converted by lifepixel which was very nice too, but I wanted something newer to do video and higher dynamic range such as the d800 can handle. I use a 50/1.8 d-af lens which is good at medium apertures. (has a hot spot at small apertures)

    JP,

Thanks for the info, as the D800 is coming more affordable as the newer models are showing on the market we can try a FF camera with real high pixels count for infrared conversion,

    Cheers,

    Renato

Had my Nikon D750 out with me a few weeks ago when the trees were just starting to sprout leaves. I've been discovering the joys of prime lenses on the digital camera. Found this old abandoned store about 70 miles south of where I live.

Both beautiful, Chris. It's winter over here and we're both feeding birds and 'pet' geese in the cold. They all sing (or honk) when they're hungry. Getting to be an all-day occupation.

6x9" print on 8x10" Adox MCC. I love split-grade printing.
