This summer's visit to the Oregon Dunes. This tree is casting its seeds trying to propagate but probably in vain.

Yesterday I tried out a newly acquired Primo Jr. 4x4 with a roll of expired Portra. It had a film of oil on the rear taking lens element that gave a soft-focus look to every frame. Mostly I disliked them, but this one seems to work. I've since cleaned the lens....

Thank you Toyo, do you know, at that time - in 1984 - I didn't know A.A. work, never have seen a photo made by him at that time. So, double thanks!
When I was living in Paris, in the 1980's years - where I begun to work with photo professionally - I was exposed mainly to big names of the European scene, and the only Americans I knew were Stieglitz (because his connection with Armory Show in NYC and the fact that he brought to USA all the modern painters from EU to his gallery, and Man Ray, for his connection with the Surrealist Movement. Go figure, the other day a member from this forum have visited a expo in Chicago with the work of Lazlo Moholy-Nagi and commented that he didn't know the man, and Moholy-Nagi was the director of the Photography Area at Bauhaus school of Art in Germany post-WWII - one of the most important schools of art in the world, from where a real revolution in Architecture and Design was born.
The Americans and Europeans were slowly in the process of getting out of their centric vision to discover each other, and I was catch by that trap too.
More work at that time, in Paris and Sao Paulo/Brazil, where I was born:

More fine images Renato
The uminaria_rua-0002 is reminiscent of Paul Strand's shadow works.
I like this one very much
