Blue Danube Ceiling Detail by Nokton48, on Flickr

Ceiling Detail "The Blue Danube" Ohio State University campus area. For my wife and I our favorite bohemian hangout, a bar/grill with a lot of history. During dinner, Minolta SRT101 with 21mm F4 MLU lens was set squarely on dinner table, and made a minutes long exposure with cable release straight up into the ceiling. Camera positioned by a total guess. Was fun to do. Eastman XX film processed in Legacy Mic-X. Omega DII with LED head, 80mm F4 Rodagon Arista #2 Ultra RC paper 5x7. Sadly the Dube closed a couple of years ago.

I needed to take a few headshots tonight. I haven't been photographing much lately, and I hadn't used studio strobes in years....Anyway, here's what I got when I asked my youngest daughter to spend a few seconds for a light test. Can you feel the love?

Nice! Like it. I like the non-specific expression for lasting large format portraiture. For commercial purposes more expressive sometimes. Family wants the smiley ones. This is serious portraiture

Testing my new FOBA DIMIL Sweep Table. I want to get a large sheet of thick table glass made for it so I can "float" small objects. And cut down a sheet of thick plexi to make a shoot through diffusers. Sony Nex3 with kit zoom lens
