    Thanks Scott and Gary! I really should have devoted more time to photographing this place. This was a return trip after some 30 years. Nothing has really changed except the dune itself. It has completely changed.

    It certainly is a great place. Have you ever been to the hidden dunes northwest of there? Long walk but worth it.

    I am not sure about Hidden Dunes. There is this group of what appears to be dunes also to the NW, on the left as you drop into the valley from the Big Pine side. I was intrigued by these.....and what might be behind them.

    Interesting. Whenever I do that, I put the new one in a frame with the old one under it. I date the new also.
