Another from my weekend in Hakushu. It was the first time in a long time that I felt like I was actually experiencing real quiet in a place.

Scott, I didn't realise these were so good; now I know why you use it so much. I have an old Pentax MX body and am thinking I should look out for a 1.4/50. There were two versions apparently, the earlier 8 element and later 7 element. Which one do you have, and are there any differences? Great work as always.

    Hey Barry,
It is 7 element. It has the red tick LEFT of the 4 on the DOF scale

Mine has "Super-Multi-Coated" spelled all the way out, not S-M-C.
According to that link it was from 1971.
Also, I've been mostly photographing at f/2

"It's pretty small but looks good" as the actress said to the bishop
