Miguel, next time you make a digital composite like this, I think that you can do a better job. The first step would be to make sure that all parts of the image are in the same scale, and not one part b&w and another in color. And use more people in the foreground, and not just one cloned multiple times...

A few recent shots, all will be printed to 6x8" and mounted. I can go larger, but I prefer intimate-sized prints which can go in any size home/office, etc.

Re: safe haven for tiny formats

I visited Monhegan island yesterday to drop off some prints (which includes one LF photo) for the upcoming Monhegan Photo Fest ( https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/m...al-inaugural#/ ) which is fully funded.

I took my IR converted DSLR bought from a forum member here. In sunny weather it makes skies look nice. In any weather, it makes the ocean look dark, which is good sometimes. Weather ended up not being nice. Once you get past the coastal islands, you're in the exposed ocean and you get swells. If a boat goes perpendicular to the swells, you get spray but a smooth ride. If you go sideways to the swells the boat rolls enthusiastically.

In my youth, I watched many news reels of WWII rough landing craft rides, saw blurred Capa photos, etc.. I noticed the weather was just right for that so I shot a bunch of photos appreciating the motion. Many people would get seasick but I enjoy this sort of thing.

That looks kind of scary, perhaps due to the IR capture. I don't like waves when I'm on a boat, they do make me a bit queasy sometimes.

My uncle used to have a big ~25ft boat but he really didn't know how much about boating I don't think. He took me and my dad out once to the mouth of Pensacola Bay which gets really choppy and was running the boat full-out into big swells. Not particularly fun!!

I have been spending the last few weeks reading and studying pictorialism.
Just finished a couple of Clarence White books, F. Holland Day before that,
    Coburn, Kasebier, those people.....

This one's from my cell phone:
