The harbor seals were doing their thing just a few blocks away from my place yesterday evening. It must be tough flopping around all day, and snoozing on the beach.

Canon EOS D60, Canon EF 70-200mm ƒ4L lens, ASA 100.

Here's a few that go back to the very beginning for me, all made with my trusty K-1000.

Was this during the storms or tsunami? I wonder if it got loose from the harbor?

    Nice photo.

Thanks. I'm honestly not sure what the story was here. There wasn't any storm that I remember. It was made in 1996 while I was going to UC Santa Cruz. A friend and I lived near the beach and I used to stroll there a lot.

Hey, thanks! Unfortunately, my website's sort of frozen in time; if you're interested, I've been putting up a lot of new stuff on flickr.
