    Very nice read. I bought one of the Dorothea Lange books a couple months ago, but it was a week or so ago that I had a read through at the anecdotes accompanying images. Migrant Mother is pretty much the same in the article as Lange tells it in the book.

    Thanks for posting this Ron. I have a print of "Migrant Mother" from the Oakland Museum that is dear to me. This is the photo I saw in an encyclopedia when I was in third grade and told myself: "I wanted to be a photographer."
