    Almost forgotten about this. File from a little 5X7 Palladium contact but it makes a spectacular 20X14. Game cock farmer trapped and killed owls and hung them up as warnings to OTHER owls, if you can believe that. Was quite an unusual thing to bump into.

    Thanks Jim. I was standing on a gravel road looking at something else entirely (see oyster shell mound in the landscape thread) when I noticed this poor bird right at my feet. I think it might be my favorite picture from the whole day!

    And I see why! Very engaging. It challenges what we've been told since childhood that dead things are gross and ugly. That's beautiful to me!
