multi tasking with an overhead projector...

    ...your thoughts?

Here's what I'm been thinking---with a sheet of frosted glass, an overhead projector could double as a light box and perhaps even a contact printer with a heavy sheet of glass mushing the negative "sandwich" down. Has anyone here tried this before? Will it work? Are there any foreseeable problems?

My impression is that the light would be to uneven for contact printing and too bright for lightbox use. However, both of these things could be solved with some work. Other possible uses: sensitometer or paper flasher.
